This App is a selection of Ghalib’s Poetry with more than 100 verses presented in Urdu, Roman Urdu (Transliteration), and English Translation
Narration by Khalid Hameed.
The App links each verse to Dr Frances Pritchett’s website (Columbia University) on Ghalib for Explication.
Features of the App:
> User can choose the language for verses to be presented in either Urdu, Roman Urdu (transliteration), combined with English Translations.
> Verses categorized according to Moods and Subjects found in Ghazaliyat.
> Each verse is linked to Columbia University’s Web Site for explication.

Excellent job guys great effort. I dont understand why more people arent downloading this gem!!! Can not believe its free the interface is easy to use and work with. Love how its in Urdu, eng transliteration AND translation. Thanks guys for such a great app.
This app is very good. I wish all deewan E Ghalib should be added in this. It has option to send verses by SMS or by email. Verses can be bookmarked. This app is simply superb. Narration is very good. Please upload full deewan e Ghalib

I have always wanted to be able to listen to Ghalibjis poetry in Urdu. I was elated to discover this application. I cannot recommend it enough, it is a wonderful way of discovering the real magic of the poetry of the Master, written to be listened to. Many thanks to the developers!

This application is treat for those who enjoy reading classic Urdu poetry.
An app has to be this good for me that I take the time to praise it. I am that lazy. But congrats to the author for making Ghalib accessible to all. The interface is friendly, intuitive, logical and fun. A couple of criticism points: The voice is monotone and pronunciation of a few words incorrect. Sar-o-qamat was read as serv-qamat. A little livelier reading would make it even more fantastic. Thank you!
